How a Free Inspection Actually Works
Most “free roof inspections” are sales calls in disguise. Ours isn’t.
When we come out, we:
- Walk the entire roof, not just what’s visible from the driveway
- Photograph every issue, every angle
- Send you the full report, whether or not you hire us
- Tell you the truth about timeline: if your roof has 5 good years left, we’ll say so
- Quote within 24 hours if a quote is the right next step, or tell you to file an insurance claim instead
If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we’ll tell you. If nothing needs to be done right now, we’ll tell you that too. We’d rather earn the call in three years (and your referrals) than push work you don’t need today.

What Honest Roofing Means to Us
A few things we commit to that other roofers won’t:
No quote without inspection. We don’t give verbal driveway estimates. A real quote needs real information.
No decking charges before tear-off. Some roofers walk your roof, find soft spots, and tell you all of them need wood replacement. Often they don’t, soft spots are frequently just joints in the decking where there’s no support beam underneath, which is normal construction. We replace only what’s actually compromised, and you’ll see it before any wood is replaced.
No high-pressure sales. Get other quotes. We expect to be compared. We’ll give you all the information about pricing, what work we perform, what materials we use, and what warranties you’ll receive.

No. The inspection is free and you get the photo report whether you hire us or not.
How fast will I get a quote?
Within 24 hours of the inspection, when a quote is the right next step. If we think you should file an insurance claim first, we’ll tell you that instead.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We document damage, attend adjuster inspections on-site, and provide the format adjusters expect. We don’t negotiate your settlement (that’s regulated work ), but we make sure you’re not navigating it alone.
Do you work with all roof types?
Yes. Shingle, tile, and foam are all common in the valley and we handle all three.
What if I just want a second opinion?
We’re glad to inspect and give you our honest read. A second opinion costs you nothing and is one of the smartest things a homeowner can do before committing to major work.
